It's CF, and what fog lamps are those? Where did you get them.. I've been looking all over.

 

That MSP is damn sexy, but I could be biased.

 

Wow, nice shots. Most pics people take (myself included) are very similar and nothing spectacular. You have a creative eye, and obviously an even better camera. Also the pic of the MSP almost makes me miss mine. She was a fun little ride.

thanks everyone, yes it is a OEM primer hood.... again, i have plans to paint it, when I have time to part the car for a few days and get the hood off to the paint shop. Sometime After the new year I hope.

I know some of you are not into the 'JDM tilt' that I use (maby overly use) in my photo's....some think its to typical of photos in car mags and stuff. I like it.

With my pictures I just try to capture an image of the car (or any subject) the way I see it in my eye's, so I can share my view of the world with others, one snap shot at a time.....i know that sounds lame...oh well... lol.

Also I thought I would post some pics from a very wet auto-x, whats the point of having a sports car if it just sits at car shows....

Oh, the thing on the hood is my camera, got an awsome video...lol






I finished 2nd in my class, it was my first time out with the RX8, being a longer, wider and heavier car than the miata, it was interesting, esp in the wet...but it was a blast, and I learned a good deal about my car, and the dunlops in the rain.

 

The fog light are the stock OEM mazda ones, I got the bracket for them so I could mount them in the Mazdaspeed bumper, and I used a yellow film to both protect and tint them so they function better as foglights and also look better (IMO).

I got the film from www.Lamin-x.com if you look in the store section, under 'uncut films' and get a 4"x8" sheet (around 12 bucks) its enough to do both fogs. I also have some Arctic Yellow bulbs coming in for xmas....the will give it a little more light output and a much more yellow color. The combo of film and bulbs in my friends civic gives him a light output that looks exacaly like a IS300. Deep, bright yellow.

 

any plans on getting a ms rear bumper?

i plan to get the rear diffuser and then the wing, still looking into what wheels. After that I plan on going with a full autoEXE suspension (coil-overs, sways, tie bars, braces, ect) but this stuff is so damn expensive that it will take me a while. I got the sides just around thanksgiving, so I have to wait till after the holiday to get more parts.
