RX-8 Chrono
RX-8 Chrono
I finally managed to purchase one of the 888 chronographs that were delivered with the first 888 RX-8 in Germany. It's an automatic chrono made by Sinn (Germany) and instead of a second hand it features a rotor in the small second display, which should also help answering those typical questions about how the rotary works.
There's an unlimited edition with yellow (instead of red) accents as well: Sinn 303 RX-8

Nice watch
The eccentric shaft performs the equivalent function of a crankshaft. It's a reasonable substitution.

Hey, I've always wanted to see a video of the little rotor in action, can you do a quick one? I was planning on doing that if and when I get the watch.
No, Germans usually make fun of people from Austria, but not Canadiens. You're too good at hockey.
I guess some people (private sellers) don't like to send valuable things over the atlantic for questions related to custo, insurance etc.
The movie idea is interesting, but the rotor is sloooow. Maybe sixty pics assembled to a movie would give a better impression.
