Pictures of Installed Accesories
We just got back from Manitoulin Island. We have put on over 1700 kms in our little escapade. We took off Friday right after picking up the car at the dealership. It was pretty cool because we were greeted by a reporter doing a feature on the RX-8 for the local Brampton paper. We were interviewed, and the story will be in the wheels section of the Brampton paper on August 8th.
Anyway, we set the NAV and away we went. It never ceased to amaze the amount of head turning and people coming over to look at the car. This happened everywhere we went. I did not think it would have this kind of effect. Was I wrong?
I'm getting the windows tinted tomorrow so the picture will change slightly. I think the darker tint will really highlight and complement the yellow colour of the car.
This picture shows the spoiler and the rotary crest. The exhaust finishers do not show up.

Anther picture showing the front rotary crest. Notice the shine and reflections on the car!
I applied several coats of Zaino. I cleaned the car initially with dish soap, and cleaned it off with the clay bar. I used the ZFX and the gloss enhancer spray. I was really impressed with the products.
My thanks to Quick Lude for pointing me in the right direction and letting me know where to purchase the products.

Very nice car!
I'm hoping you'll show up for the Niagara Cruise.
ZoomZoom is already going. So that's 1 blue one and yours will be a yellow one....
Seriously, I hope you can make it out..... That yellow is stunning.

Nice shots!
Zaino is the only way to fly. I've been using it exclusively for almost 4 years now.
I've got 3 coats of Z2 on my Blue GT so far, and it is really adding some depth to the finish.
I'm on vacation next week, so I figure I'll get it up to 6 or 7 layers fairly soon.

IMO: Paint Sealant = a waste of money.
A buddy of mine used to work at a dealership, and the "paint sealant" he applied came out of a bottle that sold for about $20, and that was good for about 3 cars and went on just like wax.
Spend the money on a selection of Zaino, some good Terrycloth, 100% North American made towel and a good wash mit.
It will be cheaper, and your car will look better.
With a black car, I STONGLY recommend you pick up the Zaino Z5 swirl reducer. Did wonders for my friends Black Honda.
You can get the ZFX accelerator if you want, but I personally use the Z1 Polish Lock, Z2 Polish, Z5 swirl reducer and Z6 gloss enhancer spray.
I have to wait longer to do coats (i.e. at least 24 hours apart) but I'm ok with that.
Worth every penny.. and it goes a LONG way.
If you don't think you are putting on enough, you are still using too much. I'm going to get 4-years, easily out of my bottle of Z2.

Can you tell I'm passionate about the stuff?
I swear, I spend as much time telling people who ask about the car about the Zaino polish as I do telling them about the car.
In fact, I think every person who has complemented me on the paint, I told them about Zaino.
*Edit: I should see if they want to sponsor me in Solo 2.
