sounds fishy. So for the next three years the self healing paint works to fill in scratches. So the paint would ooze into the scratch. I bet the scratch can't be in too deep either. Lets say this car is in the desert where the temp would rise to 110 degrees. Wouldn't the paint start to sweat off the car?

 

How about just using thicker sheetmetal and more durable paint? Wow, that's an idea......



And no, it isn't BS. I read this elsehwere too. It has a sublayer of paint that stays viscous for three years, abd because it is so dense, it flows into scratches that even cut to the bare metal. But it only works for three years.

I am suspicious about this paint. Does this mean ANY paint repair would have to be done by Nissan?
