Don't know, but mine is approaching... 2k more miles (or about 2 weeks). Where did you take it? Let us know what it costs.

It's at town north right now. I know the price and that's what surprised me.. $475. I've seen some people say it cost them about 175 less than that. So I was a bit shocked.

Indeed - half their 'services' are 'checks'..

Blah - waste of money, if you ask me.

It's the same with the 15k service: oil change, air filter change, check brakes and tires.

I wouldnt have been able to do everything, but yea.. i wanted to do royal purple and red line.. so it's a big waste of money.
I'll probably talk to them about it when they give me the bill in about 25 minutes. Fact of the matter is, most of that stuff isnt worth going to a dealership for, but don't you have to to maintain your warranty?

Not true. I'm sure they want you to THINK that...ask them straight out, when you get the bill....I'm curious what they'd say.

No, I meant that I was agreeing with you when you said half "services" were "checks". The 15k maint was the same in that manner...

That's what they charged me just for labor. Parts were another 130.

It's worth it. The RX8 is like a fine piece of furniture - if you want it, it really does not matter what it costs - you buy it.

out of that the

1 AJ04-14-302B Cartridge, Oil Filter 6.25
1 TNMDP Drain washer 1.00
5 TNM5W20 Motor Oil (2.50 per qt) 12.50
6 TNM90 90 Wt Grease (2.63 each) 15.78 total
1 TNM400 Brake Fluid 7.95

were in the 30k service. and it is good to see they did the 90wt grease. all the fluid prices are silly, but it is a dealer.

would love to see the labor charges...

the stuff below, o well.... not on the 30k list. i would ask that ??????

Hey Swoope, wanna fly over for my 30k service? I'd love to see you talk to the dealership when they whipped out the list of "services."
