My RX-8 has height adjustable suspension F:11Kg/mm R:9kg/mm and Bridgestone RE-01R 235-45-17.

wow, notice that he's in 5th gear on the front/back stretch? Must be a very high speed course since he's in 4th alot. Unfortunately, this is probably a course not really suited for our cars w/ the lack of HP and torque.

***also to note, I've been racing at 2 US tracks (Thunderhill and Laguna Seca) and at both tracks you don't even get into 4th gear that much - and definitely not 5th gear. you're usually in 3rd gear.

 

super nice, I love the US tracks ive be able to drive on, but most of my dream tracks are over in japan, you lucky dog!!!

That video was frickin' awesome. I was looking at some of the other videos that he has posted on his site, and there is one from what appears to be the Fuji Circuit (thanks Gran Turismo 4) with an absolutely long front stretch!! Be interested to know what he was hitting top speed wise on that guy before nailing the brakes and hanging on to make that tight turn 1.

The car that blasts in front of his RX-8 right at the beginning of the video and always stays several car lengths (and then bus lenghts) ahead..what type of car is that? It even handles the corners superbly

I am glad that you guys are interested in my video and put a lot of comment.

My rx-8's top speed at Suzuka is between 205 and 210 km/h (130mi/h).
I also drove Fuji Speed Way that is highest speed track in Japan.
At that time my rx-8 marked 215km/h(134mi/h).
My motor is stock condition,Autoexe exhaust is the only power related part.
I modified mainly suspension,dumper,sway ber,tires.
PCR's order made damper and suspension F11K,R9K.
Autoexe's anti sway bar F and R.
BS RE-01R tires 235-45-17.

 

oh man... suzuka is an awesome track.. .very scary in the high speed back straight....

 

awesome video . there were a few times you closed the gap a bit inbetween you and the guy in front of you until he took off in the straightaway. good show!

It seem like your cornering speeds were overall better than the skyline but in the end it was brute force that really won over. Sweet clip, more more more
