Cruuunch - arrghh!

Well, been 18 months without any damage and then caught the side skirt a cropped last week.

Was parking in a communal parking area to pick up my wife from her friends house. There was a space at the near side and as I swing in I heard a sickening crunch sound from the passenger side. Turns out the low kerb I was crossing rises up to full height just where the rear arch of the car was swinging in. Caught the rear 6" of the skirt... worst thing was having to reverse back to dislodge the skirt from the kerb with same sickening crunch scrape sound.

Anyway, looks like its repairable without too much effort. The wonders of FRP! Taken a small chunk out the visible bits, the section at the rear wheel arch is cracked about 1" and 2" from the bottom and the underside is sticking about 2" up from where it should be. Some fibre and resin should be able to repair with a small re-spray - at least its on the least visible bits of the skirts.

I think I've just got too confident with the skirts having not damaged them and it only took a second of not checking precicely how the ground lay to do this...

that sucks, sorry, but it looks like it should be fairly easy to fix, at least it didnt tear the skirt off, ive seen that happen.
