A 2005 Mazda 3s. BTW I was kidding about selling the rx8, this one is for my wife

The rims are going back to the stock 17" but the dealer didn't have time to switch them out so it has to go back in mid-next week. So what do you guys think?

Yah and they wanted to mark up the car $1970 for them. So then they tried to give them to me free. I finially had to tell them I was going to leave unless they put the stock ones back on.

geesh those wheels are not that bad, especially not for free, I'd keep them and sell them and buy something you like with the $ from selling them.

I am hoping to talk my fiance away from an '04 A4 and into a new MS6 Probably not going to happen as she is totally into the Audi though.

I wanted my wife to get the Mazdaspeed6 instead of the Mazda3 but she doesn't like how the Mazda6 looked. It's ok though saved me some money

Funny my wife likes the 3 too. Specially since it rated so well.
I need to teach her how to drive a manual so she has the option.

I like the OEM rims better too. I am sure the 18s would look nice on the 3 also.

 

Unfortunately she is only upgrading to an Audi because I talked her out of a Jetta, she loved her old Golf and I had to tell her Audi was the luxury division of VW or we would be getting a Jetta instead!!

 

Thanks. I don't know if you could fit 18" very easy on the 3 though. You would probably have to go with a lower profile tire. The stock 17" really fill in the wheel wells good.

Also I think the Mazda3 with the MT is super easy to drive. Probably the easiest/lightest clutch I've ever used.

 

I was going to say "use for snowtires", but see your're in CA and probably don't need them. The 3's are great...congrats.

 

the RX8's stock rim/tire setup fits on the Mazda3, looks great too

and yes the MT on the 3 is like shifting a stick of butter

 

Good addition to the Mazda family. I'd like to get the 6 next to my 8 in the garage.
