I plan on repeating this year, and with many more people coming, maybe we can have a multitabled tourney. I'm just looking to make more money

Well I have a table (one that folds up) and 500 Chips as well as poker chip trays. So if I get the help of Dave's son and family with their SUV then I can bring that. And we can REALLY Have a tourney!!!!
We will definitely have this on the itinerary this year!!!!

 

Is this tourney supposed to happen at the BOTD event. If so, I have an ok set of chips, and a nice set of chips. I can bring them if I remember.

 

Yep this will be happening at the event and feel free to bring your chips, because last year we had to limit the number of people becuase we only had one set. I may be bringing a poker table this year as well if I can get it in an SUV that is coming.

hey l8apex, where did you get that avatar? it's badass. i want to get an rx-8 decal for my beater (so i can retain some dignity on my daily commute lol), and i think that one is by far the coolest rendering of an 8.

 

hey, where did I get it, I made it. I found a good side shot of a nice red 8 with the MS front, and did some line art in AutoCAD. It was originally for our Georgia club logo, but it was not the one selected.

Polak is going to make t-shirts with it, not sure what it will look like. I have planned to get stickers made, I guess I should see if anyone else on the forum would want one. Maybe I can get a bunch of them made and pawn them off at a cost to make up the printing process.

might i suggest feathering the "pointy" ends of the lines (ie - where the fender lines comes down to where the brake vents woul be or the ends on the front/rear bumpers) to make it look more hand drawn and swept.

It needs some tweaking, it got left on the drawing board when it was not selected. I want to tweak it a little. Originally it was to be embroidered, and thin lines are hard to do that way, and still have them look good. Die cut will be a little different.
