1 Santa waiting for Christmas -- the Queenslanders and the Vics were still coming and the Welcoming Session was waiting for them
2 The Queenslanders disguised their cars on the way south so that nobody would know they were RX8s - but everyone made them wash the camouflage off
3 MikeyR had modified his car so much that noone recognised that it was an RX8

1 Wildcard's car with Hymee's first supercharger installed was a major interest for almost everyone at the Nationals
2 Looked and sounded great on the circuit too
3 On the last morning Taka ran a workshop on how to modify the centre brake light

While we are on the pix topic, which photographer is producing the individualised $100 CD for purchase? I thought it was Paul Chapman, but I can't see anything on his website. I was of the understanding you could view the pics online?

CD is from Paul Chapman. Don't know about photos being available for viewing on line tho. (given that there were about 70 of my car, that makes a lot of pics!) Contact them through their web page.
Cheers

Mind if I add to yours, Jellybean?

Saturday dawned sunny and clear, a major relief for me, because the consistent forecast all week had said rain tending to showers. And everyone had washed their cars, too!
Wakefield is a beautiful country location, too (now that the drought has broken)
(psst! anyone, wanna buy a used 8? Here's a yard full of them!

Don and MACCAA inspect the cars
As I said to MACCAA....nothing beats a good scrute
If you look carefully, you can just see Choppy replacing the secret NOS injection system into his car. Very cunning

Thanks for those pix. My car looked like a pig after going through some muddy patches on the road to Wakefield.
I tossed up if I should risk possibly scratching the paint while washing the car with a bucket and rag but in the end my emotion of driving a clean car took over and I ended up washing it. It was the dirtiest the car had ever been.

Nice photo's guys
, keep them coming
.
I washed my car as soon as I got home
(im sure that doesn't surprise any1)
. There was more layers of dirt and bugs on it than this car has evere seen in it whole lifetime

Managed to fit my remaining
last night but am yet to get a chance to wash it either.
Almost committed the sacrilege of taking it to a car wash on the way to work this morning but luckily it was shut.
So, the B pillars and the crests are the only clean thing on the car!!!
