Unhappy HELP...Rock Gaurd CAME OFF!!!!

OK...I'm a dumbass , and I know that , but I could use some help. The short version of this story is that I have a golf ball sized dent in my rear fender on my passenger side. I tried to get it out with the "Dent Wizard", and the glue pulled up the clear rock gaurd on the fender . There was no damage to the paint, but I need to replace the gaurd. Does anyone know what the part number is, or where I can get a replacement?

there's got to be a shop in your area that does paint protection film. try a local tint shop and see if they do it. that would be cheaper than going through the dealer. a pattern can easily be made from the other side of your car. cake job.

No. I never got the dent out. That dent wizard is total crap. I'm gonna have to go to the body shop.

If you have the old one.. and its not too bad.. you might try sticking it on in the right place.. making sure it clean of debris of course... and then use a blow drier to heat up just the plastic... to get rid of the whiteness of teh plastic when it came off...

I use this trick before when opening soft.... actually n/m what I used it for..

but that might make it better.. you'll probably have to rub it on with a cloth or something..

might just be better to take it to body shop and have them do it if yer not that handy though...

i've been installing ppf for about 6 years....never have i been able to REUSE the product. it would look like absolute crap and i'm sure you don't want that on your car. once the adhesive cures it can't be activated again.
