It would be nice to meet all the Texas folks heading to Cali, maybe the various presidents of the city clubs in Texas could coordinate a gathering Friday night or Sunday, nothing special, but might make for a good picture. Worst case, we could pick a time on Saturday and have everyone meet briefly at a certain spot at MNOA.

Just a thought, I missed the QSBBQ due to the hurricane, so I'd like the chance to meet some of my fellow Texan rotorheads.

Maybe we could find a Tex-mex place to eat and make fun of while we're there

I only know of one DFW RX-8er that is going to SS - Ajax.

 

We fly into SNA that afternoon around 4-5.

We plan to head down for dinner near the ocean if anyone wants to tag along.

We are staying at the Crowne Plaza just around the corner from the the Hilton. Priceline owned the SS hotel rate hard on this one. We are close enough we can walk

 

Fred (Rotarygod) and I are flying in on Friday also.

I know Ajax from AIM, so thats cool he is going. Nobody else from the DFW crew? Thats too bad. I guess I'll just have to see you guys next year at the QSBBQ.

 

I met Fred last year at SS7.
Steve Kan from Gotham will be out there again, but I don't really know of anyone else off of the top of my head who is going from this area. Some of the other guys from RP or Gotham might be out there but I'm not gonna speak for anyone who I haven't heard from firsthand.
