I've tried to match the Velicity Red paint to the Veilside Lip that I bought but the body shop has't been able to do it in 2 occasions.

So now I have 2 options:

1. Try to get help from somebody that could tell me what they've done and the place where they bought the paint (Internet or fisical place) and/or technic they used to paint it

2. I live in Miami, so I need somebody in the area could tell me about a good shop that would match the paint.

PLEASE HELP!!.........

 

it's gonna be hard to match original paint. It will almost never come out perfect.

 

Is the work being done by your dealer? If they have a spray booth then they should be able to get a good match.

Also, ask how they are matching the paint. Some shops have a cool device that literally scans the paint on your car.

 

No, I took it to a shop refered by a good friend, but... didn't do a good job.

Now, I just went to a shop where a Mazda dealer close by takes their cars for painting and they told me they'd fix the problem but to paint ONLY the Lip would cost me $250.

Now, Is that a reasonable price? They say it would match... but now I don't belive it so easily anymore.

 

your getting ripped off man! Demand that they repaint it!

 

i paid 100 for my burnout lip to get painted which is almost the same size as veilside.....and it was with mazda oem VR paint.....take it back!

 

We could match the factory paint. It is a tri-stage.
