Any here live in Pearland, Friendswood or Alvin?

Anyone here live in the South Houston area or the Pearland area? Was wondering if there were any recommendations on body shops in the area. I wrecked my 8. Front bumper will need to be replaced along with the absorber and possibly the hood. Also has anyone heard anything about Chris Collision?

I do live in Pearland, but I haven't (knock on wood) had the need for collision repair. Let us know how it works out if you end up taking it there.

yeah i live in Pearland also. On the West side of town. I heard some good things about Chris Collision, and stoped by today. It looks like they will be doing there best to do a good job and save as much money as possible. Pearland Autobody was overpriced.

Keep us posted. I'm on the west side of town, too. Do you drive winning blue by any chance? Saw one turn south onto CR 90 the other day.

no, ive seen that blue one though...i live right off country road 90. I drive a silver. I went to chris collision and they said i might need a new hood but they can probably straighten it out just fine. The damage behind the bumper wasnt too bad, but there going to have to weld a lose bar back to the frame. Luckily the bar isnt bent. Overall it looks like they will be doing good work like i heard. I keep checking on it daily. Ill post some picks soon. With the bumper on and off.

That was probably me you saw! I live around Silverlake and take Country Road 90 all the time. How are the repairs going? I sent you a PM about your repairs since it looks like I'll be needing some too.

Anyone else know of a good body shop in the south Houston area?

Chris Collision did excellent body work on my silver 8. Paint job was perfect too. A very friendly, honest body shop and a very flexible one too. Sent you a PM with more details. Wish I couldve posted pics during the repairs, but I lost my camera. I can post before and after pics though.

If you choose to go to Chris Collision ask him to let you see his photo album of some repairs he's done. Some of them are just amazing. You wouldnt ever think a car with that damage could be repaired until you flip over to the next page.

Good to know there's a local choice for us down here.

I've seen a Ti Grey (on 288 once then coming out of Home Depot) a couple of times in the past two weeks. Say "hi"" if you are here.

Well I took the car to Chris today. He told me I probably have some aligment problems with the suspension but he'll let me know for sure by noon tomorrow.

What really sucks though - my girlfriend's Civic got stolen by a gang (according to the cops) last Saturday (the 3rd) and when the police found it, it had a bunch of graffiti all over the hood, the inside cloth, and of course a busted steering collumn and bumpers. At least she was lucky enough to get it back without anything major. So she ended up having her car taken to Chris too. So strangely enough, both our cars are in the shop at the same time.

Sure--Hands down--go to Best Collision, on Sherwood Forest close to Jeff Haas. Here's the link

http://www.bestcollisioncenter.com/

They've been fixing Mazdas for a couple of the dealers for years. Did a beautiful job with my rear bumper.

I'm only in Houston on weekends and holidays, but we frequent Mid-Town, Med Center, Meyerland, and Memorial. I frequently drive 288 from downtown to 410 en route to the 'Dome area.

Must be someone else as the car I saw was south of 610 both times, but I'll wave if I see one north of 610.
