I just picked up a Starmate and I'm thinking about mounting it right below the volume **** in that unused accessory area at the bottom of the circle. I'm just wondering if anyone has done this or has a good idea about how to set up a bracket to place it there.

Also I have the SAT button on my radio, but do I need a PIE adapter or is there already an RCA input for the factory SAT unit on the rear of the radio?

 

I mounted my Starmate on the ashtray cover, and routed the cables through the ashtray. Pretty clean looking.

For the factory Siriusoption, it plugs into the back of the headunit. You don't need the PIE or any other connector. You headunit has to have the SAT button.
