I saw the Tsunami replacement front today, and I really like it. I like the longer and thinner center opening that this kit has, but I noticed that the one on the project car was not designed to accomodate the side markers. I would assume that this would be illegal in the U.S. Is this correct? Does anyone have an actual production piece, and have the side marker notches in fact been removed? Does anyone know of a front that has the same size/shape center opening as this kit that accomodates the side markers?

 

Technically the side markers are not required in America and this would not make your car illegal. I was told they removed it for asthetic reasons. Personally, I think it would look better with the side markers. No one ever complained about them and they break up the surface. If this front had side markers it would be ideal.

 

i have the Tsunami front bumper and yes the sidemarkers are not to be used.
