Oil Change at 2000 Miles. Since i dont know much about cars, what kind of Oil should i get? Does a Renesis Engine make a difference?

 

It requires 5W20 whereas most piston engines are designed for 5W30. I prefer to use Valvoline and GTP but any brand should be fine. This topic has been discussed before many times, so you can make a search to find long-long posts about one brand vs another and synthetic vs non-synthetic.

 

Castrol GTX here. no internal residue problems with its use.

Castrol 10w30 for the wifes here in TX
