Smile No Start

I have an Issue occasionally I will turn the Key to start and nothing happens I keep turning it off and on a few times and it will start. Sometimes it will go a week or so and then it does it repeatedly eventually it will turn over. But until it does it is like completely dead. Someone recommended an Interstae Battery with more Amps I bought one, however, the problem happens on occasion. This is a tough one to bring in to the Dealer because it probably won't do it. Perhaps there is some type of Interlock my car is a 2004 6 Speed. Anyone have any ideas?? I would appreciate some advice.

Do you get lights to come on? If so, and you still do not get the starter to kick over, there is a new starter/battery combo from the dealer you purchased the car from.

Make sure the clutch is fully depressed before you turn the key.

if nothign at all happens when you turn the key it is most likely the safety switch. either you arent depressing the clutch fully OR the switch is faulty or dirty.
