have added a few mods to my car since my last set of pics including a b&b midpipe, k&n typhoon intake (old version), cold air intake tube (home made) and a set of mazdaspeed bpillars. by the way the home made cold air intake works exellent specially with the K&n intake. for those who dont like loud cars DO NOT PUT THE B&B MIDPIPE WITH THE K&N INTAKE! TOO FU*K*NG LOUD!!!!!!

 

nice intake mod, one thing i think you really need JET BLACK WINDOW TINT, always looks good with black cars!

other than that looks good, as far as the noise from the intake/exhaust, is it clean and loud or just loud? you get some good backfire sound?

 

clean but very loud and yes i get backfire but only shifting from 1st to second at 9000rpm.

 

I have a similar mod on mine. I took the car to a local muffler shop and the measured, cut, and bended a piece of scrap pipe much like your ducting material. It cost me 10$. I was thinking of going the route you did but I was affraid the ridged flexable material would interupt smooth airflow. I just need to wrap it in some sort of heat shielding material.

 

That os exactly ehat my brother did with his Blazer Xtreme. Gobs of mods. He put a motorized fan in the tube which is controlled by the ignition and connected to his electric fans.
