new member to the board from JIC-Magic USA!

Hey everyone. First off, my name is Yukio. I work here at JIC-Magic USA doing mainly marketing but I will be able to help you guys out with any technical questions about our suspension, wheels, exhausts, and seats along with any questions you may have about our competition RX-8 that will be comming out and attacking tracks since it's been out for a while and it needs to stretch it legs a bit. haha.

Anyways, I am personally selling my 92 Toyota Camry Show car (yes, a camry... custom paint, one off bomex executive body kit, fully built motor, supercharged, D2 Coilovers, Volk Racing wheels, full sparco interior etc.) and I am getting a RX-8 as a new project car. So, I will also be learning from all of you for my future build up.

I will probably get an AB Flug Body kit, All JIC suspension (of corse), JIC exhaust, Either Iforged or Volk Racing wheels, Autopower Roll Cage, C-West Rear Wing, GReddy Turbo Kit. My main focus is have a decent track car, a fun street car, slightly driftable drift car, and a weekend show car... yeah I know... a lot of money. hahaha.

Well, thanks for your time.

Welcome. To start with, what shock settings would you recommend f/r with both the "street" and "sport" FLT-A2 coilovers for a stock car when on the street, autocross or track? That will serve as a good baseline to compare against recommended settings for various modified cars.

For damper, what we would suggest is a harder front (8-10 clicks) and the rear would be softer. Since that is the way the RX-8 is set up. Most of all, it's personal preference. So it would be best to go to a track with the street set up, see how it goes after a few laps, then go into the pits and adjust. But it's best to keep the front harder than the rear. Hope this clears some stuff out.

Wish I could, but that would mean that we would lose money.

BTW, thanks for the warm welcomes!

New things I have a Carbon Trunk and new coilovers. Pics are about 4 months old. I know... it's kinda ricey in some eyes, but yeah, those stickers are for sponsors and supporters, but they're comming off for SEMA... different sticker scheme. Pink is the new Brown. LOL.

Great! It's probably the nicest one available. It's very quiet but offers an aggressive tone. Hope you like it.
