Is anyone going to this ? You can test drive 3's,5's,6's, MX-5's and the RX-8 on a set course. For us Bay Area folks theres one in Alameda in August 20-21, 2005. Socal guys have one in the bay area. It's free.

I cant speak for the Mazda events but the ride and drives I have worked at wont let you "drive the $hit out of there cars". I would expect this to be a very tuned down event compared to the past Mazda Rev It up tour.

I could be wrong, I plan to find out on the 27th. :D

For anyone that thinks you are going to show up, get the keys and go for hot laps I think you are wasting your time. Also keep in mind there is a very good chance these cars will all be automatic trans and 100% bone stock.

 

I think the cars are going to be auto for the most part, but they will probably modify the suspension for safety. I never attended a Rev It Up event, but from what I hear, they let you drive laps in auto trans cars with mild suspension mods. This may be the same?
