I think you need to read up a little more just to find out what you actually get when you get a shinka......and its worth every penny...... :D

 

i'm sure it is...it is a limited edition and will be worth way more than mine in twenty years...how many did they make exactly

..as for the "hot air" comment, well it was just "tongue in cheek".

I whole-heartedly agree about the Shinka being worth it. When I ran the numbers for what I would have wanted in a reg RX-8, there wasn't much difference...other than I would have gotten more of a discount being I had the Ford Employees advantage at the time. The dealer said he was't obligated to give me the discount on a limted edition model; but I still got a good deal. I really like the color, the parchment leather interior and yes, I'll admit it.. the fact that I own a car of which there are less than a handful in this state is a good feeling.

I was told 2000 were made......I got the S plan discount no problem....that response they gave you is just sales talk.....when I bought my 6 a couple of years back I went to another dealer and they tried to pull the same crap.....but in the same breath said they would give it to me.....dealers do not have any consistency...they seem to just run their own show :D
