Thanks to the various D.I.Y.'s found on this forum, this install was pretty easy. It is nice having a mute button at your fingertips instead of having to reach up. This setup also works well in stealth mode if you need it.

i just figured out where my gtimer remote is going. btw how much room is behind where you have the buttons mounted????

it is fairly large back there...the size of a portable casset player without the plastic shell

 

so i am guessing that i can mount the original cig plug with the smartplug attatched to it. i guess i will no soon enough.
