AH! Is your car the A/T? the A/T's come with 16" wheels. The M/T comes with 18"wheels. And the rims are a little different.

No.Car is 6 speed with 18" rims.
This rim is 18" too,but middle section is different.
Car is my brother's,located in Europe.I'm bought this rim for his car and shipped to Europe.Brother just call me and told about this problem.I can't check my self.
Maybe this middle section is something as "add one"?

I don't know much about the European versions. Maybe one of our fellow European owners can chime in on this. I can only assume that some of the M/T versions over there has the same style of rims as the A/T versions in the US only larger.

Depending on where he's at it may be possible to get a matching wheel from another 8 owner
there. Maybe you can post in the European Forum and see what the response is.

car was bought here,in US, last summer.
I assume all 18" rims are same style. For that reason i even not checked this rim when received from junkyard (dealer took it out from wrecked mazda RX8 with 18" rims and potenza tires)

The picture you showed above in the first post is standard with all manual's in the US.
Looking at the picture you posted of the car it actually looks as though the two are not the same size, the rear looks much smaller, but it's hard to tell by the picture.

If you look closer at both pictures, you will find that for all stock 18" rims middle section is more inside of rim.Middle section of this rim is more outside(section, where bolts goes thru)

I dont' think that the subtle difference will affect how it will look. As long as it fits and it's the same style then he's good to go! Once it's on I bet he won't even notice it.

edit: The more I look at it the more it looks alot like the wheel I posted. I don't think he has anything to worry about. :D

The rear rim looks like an old ford probe gt rim.

They have the same bolt pattern so it was probably just a temp rim.
