Angry Ontario is pissing me off

I finally turn 18 and I'm in Ontario, I can't buy a Cuban Cigar(Which is what I reallly want) and this past weekend I was in Niagra falls and I thought it was like the U.S and I would be able to go to a Casino but you have to be 19. I was super-pissed, I'm going back to Flroida until I turn 19 then come back here.

so how is that Ontario's fault? You could have found that out before you went there.

cigars are tabacco... tabacco/smoking laws prevent anyone under 19 from buying them. its been like that for a very very long time...

sorry, what I mean is I've waited till I'm 18, in the U.S you can smoke, gamble and go to clubs when your 18. Here you have to be 19 to do those things, th eonly thing that makes up for it is the low drinking. Next YEAR! *Shake a fist*

Sheesh is that all?

Try having 30K of your hard earned money taken from you every year and then to add insult to injury the same governments go ahead and throw away another 4 billions worth to a bunch off lay abouts to buy votes...

The whole country is starting to **** me off.. I'm just going to move to Florida and stay there until the criminals in power are gone :p

In ontario the legal age to gamble is 18 but because they serve alcohol in the casino, you are required to be 19. VelociRedBeast, do you have a car, if so why dont you take off to Montreal for the weekwnd? The age over there is 18 for everyone. You can grab all the booze, tabaco, and plenty of *** you want. Go for it!

Rotten42, Dont be jelous that Ontario gets faveored :p

And BTW.

.... it doesn't mean that the billions are going in the pockets of the people in this province. I pay the same taxes you do. It would be that same if the capital was located in any other province of canada.

sorry...after my tax bill this year, I've lost my sense of humor.

Its just very frustrating to think that even after all the **** the liberals have been caught screwing it to the people of Canada...they are still going to remain in power. Mulroney didn't do have the crap this government has done and they got their asses handed to them....why not these clowns?

Actually, you pay more taxes than Rotten. Alberta has the lowest tax rate of any province. (well, for everyone who owns an RX-8...it's different for lower brackets )

I totally agree with you rotten . I hate them just as much as you do. But it's not Ontario’s fault that we have the gov't in this province.

It's too bad the majority of the country doesn't see that this gov't is a joke.

I'm not going to turn this into a political thread . I'm done

its going into projects in Qubec and Ontario. Where is the govenment help been on mad cow, drought and floods for out west....Minor, very minor support....and don't even get me started on the Wheat board. Ontario farmers can sell their goods direct but Western farmers have to use the wheatboard.....nice?!

...but it isn't and won't ever be that way. The money only goes where the dense population is......this is why with our present political system...Canada can't work.
