Question Wheel Question - What do I get?!

I know about as much about cars and such as I do Chinese Math...

With that being said, I was looking for some rims for my car, and came across the 5zigen Hyper 5zr (hyperblack) my question is, which ones will fit my car? There are about 7 different options on the site I am currently looking at: http://www.edgeracing.com/wheels/5zigen/

Also, if anyone has an idea of a better/cheaper place to purchase please let me know! Thanks for any help.

Our OEM rims are 18x8 with a bolt of 5x114.3 this this will give you a place to start .

So what are the variables in what you just said, im guessing the 18 is the diameter, the 8 being width of the wheel? 5x114.3 Im a bit lost? Basically what can I change there?

5x114.3 is the bolt pattern.
18x8 is the wheel diameter and width.
50mm is the offset.

You can play some with less offset. Be careful if you go to a 17" wheel because they might not clear the brake calipers. The bolt pattern can't change.

What are the differences from changing the offset?

How it sticks out or not, sticking out further may require spacers .. lip or no lip rims...etc etc.

That was incredibly confusing...I would think that the width of the rim would have something to do with how far it sticks out?

The width of the rim has some to do with how much it sticks you, but most here like what is called a "dished" look. Where there is a lip from the edge of the rim to the spokes on the rim. This will give a look of a wider tire. Others like the spokes and edge of rim to be flush with each other (similar to the stock rim). Depending on what you like will decide what the offset will be. I think people are able to get an 8.5 width on the rim as well without any problems. If I were you, I would head to a local tire/rim store and look at different options to learn and see what you like better before you make the purchase.
