yep, another 8 with Tein S Techs

Boy Tein must be sitting pretty off of just the Rx8 alone, not to mention all the other cars they make springs for :D I took some pics on my uneven driveway, plus they haven't fully settled yet and it was getting dark, can anyone notice how excited I am to have these installed?! I would like to add that if anyone is considering these by all means go for it, I can tell a distinct difference in ride/handling. I purposely took the 20+ mile long way home just to get a feel for how things were and the best way I can describe it is that this change made a fun car funner, very cost effective mod if you ask me. No alignment yet but I will probably get one in a week tops. I'm still in awe on how much more fun and responsive the car is, plus the stance looks sweet and it isn't even settled yet
You can defintely tell it's dropped but as I mentioned before, these were taken less than an hour after they were installed, pictures probably don't indicate much, but you can really tell in person. From all that I've read the front is supposed to come down 1.5 inches, the back .8 or something similar.
as far as I can tell it's not that bad, the car tracks super straight, it almost drives like nothing has changed. i know in the past when my alignment was off the vehicle felt funky and would pull hard to the left/right etc..

the install was performed by a good friend of mine who has not disclosed the price as of yet, he is also the co-owner of the car audio shop I'll be representing so I will probably know more about what everything costs once we get started on my car stereo setup. So as of now, it's temporarily free :D
Nice drop canaryrx8! I have those installed too and you definately feel the difference. Mine took around a month or so to settle. Now they sit nicely (even looks better with the summer tires. I had the winter tires when I installed them).

Waited about three weeks to get mine aligned. The tech was like "Boy, was that thing pulling to the left, or what!" Um, yeah, I guess it was. Sure. I didn't say a word about new springs. Here's the printout from that visit showing how far off it was, front then rear.

I should add "already". It has come down about another 1/2 an inch since Wednesday. I'll be going on a TexasRxs run tomorrow, will try and take better pics then, maybe I'll be lucky enough to see it next to a stock one as well. at some point I'll have a nicer camera (mine's over 4 years old) and then my pictures will probably be telling a whole lot more
Instead of taking far away shots, just put your fingers in between the gap
That will show more of the amount of drop. But of course, you might have not taken a before stock shot :p. On mine, the left side is slightly lower than the right, but thats because most of the streets/places I parked are tilted, so more pressure on that side.
