Saw a brand spankin' new Ford GT today!

Hall Ford in Newport News, VA, has a white w/blue stripe. Just arrived today. I was picking up my touch up paint and saw that white beauty center stage!

That is one of the sweetest cars I have seen. Also the most expensive!

$156,000.00 plus a $100,000.00 "market adjustment" bringing that to A WHOPPING $256.000,00

Damn thats a lot of money for a Ford!

We've had 2 so far with one more on the way.

This one I have right now is $220,000 with a list of $148,095 no center stripe. I drove it, it's OK but like driving a freaking lumber wagon and you can't see ****.

Save yourself $50k and just buy a Lamborgini:
http://autobase.com/cgi/info.exe?bc=1671127

Doesn't matter what it is you tell anyone 'I drive a Ford' they won't be as impressed as if you had said 'I drive a Lambo'

This comming from someone who is a Ford (And Mazda) salesperson

I've seen 2 here. and honestly they just don't look all that great. I feel bad if they spent 150k on it but 250 and they got totally ripped off.

The GT will aboslutey embarass the Gallardo in just about every performance category, for that matter it will do the same to a Murcialago. I don't care who makes it, I'll take the Ford GT over both of those cars in a heartbeat. Lambos are generally poser cars, I'd love one but if I was actually spending my money as a driving enthusiast there are tons of cars I'd go for besides a Lamborghini.

I would rather have the Ford GT than the Gallardo. The Gallardo would make a nice second or third car though.

A Ford GT showed up at a track day I was at a couple of months ago. The instructors were given the opportunity to drive it. Even though they had to keep the revs down, because it was still in the break-in period, they all raved about its balance and power.

It certainly was the car I found most attractive at the Seattle auto show last winter.

Why in the world would they let you drive the car? If I am buying a 200k+ car the only miles on it I want are from when it was test driven before it left the factory by their test driver. Like Lambo does with every car they make.

Its cool though that you got to drive one

the GT makes any ferrari except the enzo beg for mercy.
I gotta say as I love the original GT-40, the ford GT is the only ford I'd ever want to own.
