Hello Everyone!I'm new and want to ask a few questions.

So, I'm gona get my N license the end of July, and I'm planning to get a RX8 XD

I'm living in west Vancouver and near Richmond.

I want to get a package which gives my RX8 a even more of a sport car look, such as adding a rear wing spolier.

so I want to ask where I can find the best dealer for it?

and I actually doesnt know alot of this car and what it comes with.

Can you guys give me some suggestions also?

My buget for the car and all the other stuff together will be around $45000CAD

Thanx guys! :D

Mazda Canada does have this function. Go to Sales & Service -> build & price then select RX-8 and go from there. Just one question, why are you getting an auto? Oh, and seeing as how you are just getting your N im guessing you are pretty young. So my advice is if you do get this car then please do not drive like an idiot. What I mean is that it is ok to open up the throttle as we all do it but just do it when you are 100% sure you cannot injure/kill other people.

Oh, I see hehe. Seriously, do not listen to your teacher, the manual is the only way to go . You are going to be missing out on 40hp and eventually you will be driving stick like its second nature. Driving a manual sports car especially on the highway is a great experience. Regarding the prices, you will definately get a price like that in your area. I got the RX-8 GS from the MSRP of around $37,000 to $34,400 so you should be able to get a deal around $40,000.

Question: Do you plan on adding any type of body kit in the future? If so, I wouldn't recommend getting the appearance package as it's pretty much useless after the kit.

Yea, seriously, if you're 21, don't get the automatic. You'll regret it in a year and you'll be tempted to switch cars again and waste your money. Personally, I've never driven a manual car before the 8 and I find the 8 really easy to learn with performance wise. It doesn't have a huge low end torque so you don't run yourself off the road with a tap of the throttle and the power comes very linear so there's no surprises for newbies.
I'd suggest getting the 6 speed GT and try to get your dealer to throw in the side strakes for the price you're looking at. Are you getting the factory spoiler? Personally I think it makes the car look a bit.... "softer" (bad thing to me), but the side strakes really make the car stand out more.
Anyway, good luck with whatever choice you make and hope to see you at those drives later on (well, maybe you won't see ME, but you'll definitely meet Andrew, Mark and the rest of the vancouver regulars )

actually this is my first car...

and my frds dun really give much attention to cars, so they dun know much about body kit and stuff...

if I want to get a good but not too expensive body kit,

what kinda options do I have? and where can I get it?

btw I'm from Hong Kong, so chinese stores or canadian stores all works for me :D
