Why is my RX8 so hot inside the front side area?? there is hot air coming out of the vent even tho its down to the coldest zone... just feels really hot inside the car even at evening time. anyone having same issue?? but AC is working find...
This is even when car is not running just feels so damn warm!!

 

well...these engines get really hot and the car doesn't insulate heat very well. i notice that my car, with the car running and ac blasted, the footwell still gets fairly warm.

on a side note. anyone ever notice when you come around a turn fairly quick, the heater starts to blow cold??? i guess the coolant in the heater core is shifting around inside.

 

The rotary engine does produce alot of heat. As far as the A/C, if it's blowing hot air when on the coldest setting then take it back to the dealer.

A/C is working fine....I guess it is normal with this Rotary Engine running hot!

 

Try the DIY I posted. If you use your A/C alot then that simple and cheap mod may help. :D
