Got my 8 in the Twin Cities a couple weeks ago. There is no Mazda dealer in LaCrosse, WI. Never ever have seen another one in this neck of the woods. Getting a lot of stares when I drive by. Pretty cool being the only one in an urban area with 80,000 people!

 

Yah, upper wisconsin is pretty strange, very few non-american cars. My eclipse is like a rare exotic in those necks of the woods, rx8's are almost non-existant.

 

My husband is from Desoto, we dont live there (army). We will be coming up this summer to visit, Want to see another? Mine is 2005 white.

 

Holly, I will be looking for your sleek white 8 this summer! My 8 is getting lonely, it needs some company. Still cool though having the only one on town!

It's lonely here around Sheboygan too. I've seen one other one besides mine in the 1.5 years I've had mine, and there is a Mazda dealer in Sheboygan.

 

Well, I may be closest - I'm in Westby. (Nordic Green) I've also seen a silver one in Hillsboro enough times to think it lives there. Jalibrandi, we should get together sometime.

By the way, I took mine to Madison for dealer work. (Only once - TSB and warranty stuff. Brake squeal, foam on dipstick, broken e-brake surround, and reflash to N.) They were pretty good, although they did play dumb about the brake pad replacement. I got a 6 for a loaner car.

 

Wow! Saw a sleek white 8 cruiseing through LaCrosse yesterday. I waved but the driver didn't see me. The first other 8 I've ever seen here. Could that have been you Holly? Or maybe I finally got a LaCrosse twin.
