Hey guys,

I just got my side skirts from the appearance package installed by my dealer today, and damn, it looked good. However, when i took a closer look at it, the skirt was not smooth with the car..like it had a gap near the tip of the skirt. So I was wondering if that was normal or did they install it wrong?

Well mike, is the skirt suppose to be fresh with the car's surface? Because what if i wash the car and water goes in that gap, would it cause any damages? And it's weird because at that dealership, they didn't have one single 8 to with the side skirts to compare with..

it's only held on by double sided tape and plastic clips. the adhesive probably isn't holding it well. but it still looks fine and you shouldn't worry about water going in the gap.
