Clearcoat

To make your car shine more couldn't you add more clearcoat. How much would this take and how much trouble would it be?

I don't believe it's neccessary. One solid clearcoat which the stock 8 has ( not the cheap ones) for the finish is enough. The base coat primer(comes in different colors) has alot to do with how the car shines when hit by sunlight. If you want it to shine, wax it.

adding a new clear coat is just like doing a full exterior respray. the factory clear coat will have to be scrubbed down, mask everything, rubber seals and moulds comes off, apply the clear coat, then put thing back
not worth it
