dodge makes maniacs!!!

What's up with people and having to drive like a crazy person just because they have a hemi?

If I ever get ina car wreck due to another wreckless driver I bet it will be a dodge.

I've seen people in those jeep 5.7l driving like they were in a ferrari, endangering people because their not in anyting remotely capable of the maneuvering their trying to do!

I know it can't just be me! I'm sick of getting run off the road by a bunch of wreckless renecks in ther TRUCKS!

(I have nothing against trucks, I owned one myself. Just think they were intended to be just that a truck and not a race car.)

I bet they are on their msg boards complaining about those darn low-riding-rice burners who weave in and out of traffic....don't signal, constantly drive in their blind-spots.

Just had a Dodge truck drive like an **** today. I put on my blinker to change lanes, then I heard his engine roar. He was trying to speed up so I couldn't get in. Thing is, I needed to turn. When I realized what was going on, I gave it a bit of gas and got into the lane very easily, but he still had to come up close on my bumper with that ugly grill.

It was -- well, a riced up truck. Spoiler on the back of the bed and kewel kustom accents. Looks like he spends a lot of time detailing it.

I don't get that. If I got a truck, I'd get one that does some work -- not something I'm going to spend as much time detailing as the 8.

I've already posted in other threads how I always have problems with Dodge Pick-ups and SUV's trying to race me....yes, they have a Hemi.

I just shake my head and turn up the tunes.

The Ford F150 and Chevy guys don't seem all that shy either. It's always the pickup trucks that have no clue what they're dealing with.

i think its just other people in general, regardless of the car they drive. i almost got rear-ended by a douche bag in a white mitsu lancer (not the evolution, just a regular lancer) yesterday becaseu i was exiting from the interstate and he came out of nowhere and tried to pass me on the left (shoulder of the road), so i downshifted and took off. when we came to the light, he looked over at me and had this ****-eating grin on his face. kind of like, "this young punk thinks he owns the road with that car."

so did i roast his *** when the light turned green? NO. i let him screech his tires and continue to drive like an *******, hoping that i would see him later either pulled over or smashed into something.

The scariest thing I've ever seen was a Hummer driven by a little lady with a HANDICAP sign hanging on her rearview mirror. She was weaving in an out of lanes with no regard to others (no signal, cutting people off, etc) That struck terror into me because she's bascially saying "I'm handicapped, and a bad driver that WILL crash hence I need a big and bulky tank to protect my handicapped ***" How selfish, eh?!?

Oh it's also funny when pickup trucks try to change lanes into you and you honk and they straighten up ... then try AGAIN without speeding up or anything. I can see that the first time I may be in the blind spot but when they are aware that I'm there, and they STILL try to change lanes into me ... that's just moronic!

It was raining on my way to work today. I kept it to a reasonable speed and was continually passed by a convoy of pickups and SUVs going way over the limit.

I've got a car that handles nicely and has DSC, and I cool it. They plow ahead because they've got vehicles that they THINK give them bulletproof traction.

Had a guy in a Magnum Hemi rev his engine at me yesterday a few times, then proceeded to weave in and out of traffic after I ignored him.

I seem to get this from people in Jeep Grand Cherokees all the time. Around here they drive like complete morons. I guess it's a Jeep thing. I wouldn't understand.

RAM
Pronunciation: 'ram
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, from Old English ramm; akin to Old High German ram
1 a : a male sheep b capitalized : ARIES
2 : any of various guided pieces for exerting pressure or for driving or forcing something by impact: as a : the plunger of a hydrostatic press or force pump b : the weight that strikes the blow in a pile driver

I think from their corporate branding alone you should be able deduce what they do and what you should do when meeting their buyers...
They Ram... you Dodge...

Luckilly just like their corporate namesake, most of their cars are only good running straight blindly... so it should be easy to dodge their kind.

My thoughts exactly. Here in my part of the States, (think of Marty Robbins) the trend seems to be FREAKIN MINIVANS?!?! I can't understand it either. Now, I'll grant, I drive fast, but never unsafe: The 4 cardinal rules of driving (all else are technicalities) 1. Don't HIT anything 2. Complete stop, no Texas rollers or whatever you call them 3. If the school zone sign says 15mph, then make sure it's 15mph THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH, God forbid it's YOUR kid in the crosswalk one day 4. If the blinker is on, it's a legit pass/lane change, I don't want to hear anything about 'cut me off'.

But here in the city that time forgot, minivans, SUV's and the awesome two-tone ricers (fiberglass & body paint, SWEET) all think they're racers. I'm from L.A. and there, if we're on the freeway, it's because we're going somewhere. Here, I believe but can't yet prove, people get on the roads in a huge conspiracy to go really slow just to **** ME OFF. :D And I think there's a city ordinance that I didn't get a memo about that says YOU MUST DRIVE IN BLIND SPOTS AND LEAVE SPACES BETWEEN CARS IN PARALLEL LANES THAT ARE JUST NOT QUITE BIG ENOUGH FOR OTHER CARS TO MOVE INTO SO THAT THOSE DRIVERS CAN GET TO WHERE THEY'RE GOING WHILE YOU'RE ON YOUR EVERYDAY'S-A-SUNDAY DRIVE.

Beware the conspiracy of the minivans... hell's angels have gotten older... now they're driving Grand Caravans... :D

And when you cut me off, I'm not tailgating -- I'm drafting.
