Chrome Door Handle Trim????

Anyone have chrome door handle trims for the RX-8? I just bought some for $12 off of ebay and am wondering if anyone has come across them before. They apparently have 2-sided tape and you just stick them right on. I am a little apprehensive but I figured for $12 it was worth the try. I am concerned mostly about how well they will stay on, and if they come off easily. (cold weather, hot weather, rain, etc.)

Any help is appreciated.

Take pics for us when they come in--I have been curious about those for quite some time myself. I have no idea what they would look like.

Geniko, can you show us a picture of what you are referring to?...

I do know that double stick tape is fairly strong... I have the $10 billet grill (See D.I.Y. forum) and it's held on using the sitcky tape on the back of the strips. I've been in the rain and heat, and washed my car many times and its been holding up well for the most part. 1 piece is a little loose but overall its holding up. Then again it's not getting AS direct sunlight as would the door handle trimming. I say give it a shot - dont have too much to loose.

Pictures of Chrome handle covers!?!?!?!?

I will post pictures of my car as soon as I get the door handles put on. (I was actually hoping I could see them on another car first - might make me feel a little more comfortable doing it). I have also sported the tires with chrome wheels, added a chrome fuel lid, and am currently installing the strakes I got on ebay (for $145 US). I figure the chrome door handles will go really well with this set-up.

Are those basically the same? I'm debating on getting a pair and putting it on my SS 8. I have the stainless steel strakes from ebay, so I think the handles might help add to the strakes. I also have the DIY billet grille, so I think it might mix well. What do you guys think?
