I just thought I'd share the fact that my unscientific poll shows more RX8's showed up than 7's to the Columbia MD meet yesterday (Sun 4/17). Rib-rib :D

I saw one 1st gen, one 2nd gen, and two or three 3rd gens... There was also a lone Deloreon and a good time had by all.

hey now.. there were at least 3 second gens.. Mine (the white one) there was a spray painted blackone(Munchie).. there was a gloss painted black one (suds).. There were 3 3rd gens The white one with carbon fiber hood and body kit (it was next to the yellow rx-Midget).. 2 Black FD's a green one.. and another black fd came that came while after you left.. and there were only 4 or 5 SE's (rx8's).. i think you should have taking pics of the 7's as well.. we all are rotary powerd..

Well two things, 1. the 8's were lined up together, begging a photo op; 2. I was only taking pics for my own amusement, posting was an afterthought. Next time I promise to include you 7s.

Some of my best friends drive 7's although I wouldn't want my daughter driving one...

just kidding...

ok Artzy8.. let ya daughter drive an auto 7.. :-D.. they suck.. but if she likes it take out the trans and get her a manual..

the meet is always in the same spot.. We thinking of moving it to sundays.. since we had such a great turn out.. hope to see ya there..

 

Yea i can only make it on sundays so lets try to make it on a sunday b/c i would like to go again

RX-7 line-up at meet
3rd Gens: 3 black, 2 montego blue, 1 white, 1 red (one black and the red showed up late)
2nd Gens: 3-4 (its hard to put a color to some of them
1st Gens: 1 silver two tone

 

i want to say the meet we had on Sunday was the most successful that i've been to so far. if Sundays work for everyone, i'm sure we'd be willing to keep it to Sundays...



besides...that's the only day that i'm guaranteed to be able to go


as a sidenote - next time, i'd like to meet more of the 8 guys...i met one solitary soul out of the group, because he was willing to chat with me. mingle with us guys! :p

 

i talked to the jamaican dude, the dude with a red FD, the asian dude with the montego blue FD, and RenoIV

 

that's cool...i just know MOST people were sortof off by themselves.

the RX7 people were no better - they pretty much stuck by the RX Midget and Monchie's atrocious black FC with the funktified "horn"

 

i'm going to buy a disposable camera to keep for the meets and if someone hits my car.. :-D

Everyone was mainly around the midget.. the Alarm was funny.. and the Guchi 8 was great too..
