hey do you guys know that if we can unlock the software setup to let us to use the factory screen to watch dvd?? or maybe we can add or modify the chip ?? coz i heard from my dealer , saying all the nav can play dvd,just because its illegal in Canada ,so they just lock it.any resolutions?

 

The nav DVD will not play regular DVDs.
There's a hardwired Nav hack by AVElectronics which allows you to have 2 or 3 different inputs into the nav screen, e.g. backup camera, XBox, along with a TV tuner if you so desire.
And apparently there's a new (Panasonic?) product coming out which hacks the video as well as audio (for iPods). I'm waiting on that one. Hold on.....
