Are you talking about the dark chrome wheels from Mazda?

Have you considered regular chrome? I just bought some for my VR and they look hot! I'd post pics but the car is still in the shop.

he may mean black chrome as in a the highly glossy black that is sometimes chrome that has been painted and highly polished...like Cortc's HRE rims and many others...I would recommend only the face be the high gloss black and not the lip...have a polished or chromed lip for a hot look

I would love to have that look on my car as it is Sunsilver...but after getting flawless set of stock rims and added the Rotary center caps I'm very happy with the look and so I also saved over a grand

I personally am not a fan. I looked at tons of pics of dark vs. light when it comes to rims on the VR and I thought dark rims in general took away from the "flashiness" of the red. It's a hot-looking color on it's own and I think any mods should only add to it rather than take it away. That's the main reason why I went with "light" chrome. But as they say, to each his own. My heaven may be your hell.

Sure did:
http://stores.ebay.com/OEMRIMS-INC

These are the stock OEM rims that have gone through the chrome triple plate process. They are beautiful and the company is a pleasure to do business with. It was certainly the cheapest way for me to get "new" rims. 1 year warranty on the chrome plating.

The only thing that sucked was paying for the shipping....

about $180 total both ways (CA all the way to VA)

so $550 + $180 = $730, and you use your own rubber since it's a direct swap... then you ship the wheels back in the same boxes w/the prepaid shipping labels since you pay for both ways up front
