Just saw a Lightning Yellow with sunroof going east on Chicago/Maple Ave in Naperville.

 

Could have been me. I live off of Ogden and Naper.

I saw another black RX8 at the first Chicago Region SCCA autocross of the season.

 

And there is only one registered for the event this weekend. Guess who that is? :D

I'm going to London tomorrow so I wouldn't be able to attend anyway. Although like I mentioned I'll probably do mostly BMW and Audi autocross at Maywood this year. They are a bit more fun for me, lots of friends there, fewer people so you get more runs and don't take 11-12 hours to do the event and they are much closer to my house so I save a couple of hours of driving time.

I autocrossed mine a couple of weeks ago with the BMW club. I did well but only finished 5th out of 10 in the open class (anything non BMW). It was a Mazda sweep of the top 5 as it was four Miatas and then me. I beat the time of most of my bimmer friends, even those with 75 more hp. I also found out some stuff that I was doing wrong which would have helped me at the Joliet autocross.

Although, after my first track weekend last week, I might decide to spend my time there instead of autocrossing.

Spotted 2 Rx8's on my way down to Bloomington this afternoon. A Blue around Dwight, Il. going northbound on I-55 and a Black around Pontiac at about 2pm. Anyone here?

I was on 294 near O'hare southbound at about 6:45 last night.

 

^ Yep, around 6:45. I was the black 8 you passed and I ended up behind you for a few miles.

 

Red 8, Thursday 5/12 @ 1:00 in Wheaton (Danada Plaza). The corner of Naperville Rd. & Butterfield Rd.

 

There will be at least 2 RX8s at Streets of Woodfield tomorrow night. :D
