Just wanted to post pictures of my Project RX8 that we are using as a promo car. We are doing a huge tuner event in conjunction with the Molson Indy in Toronto on July 8/9/10. It is the first time that a sport compact show is being fused with legitimate motorsports. We've a base attendance of 170,000 and expect over 250,000 this year. It will be the largest aftermarket consumer in North America. We are offering a BEST OF SHOW prize of $10,000 in cash and prizes.

I'd love to see some of the hottest RX8's to come represent at the show and try to win the best of show! Feel free to msg if anyone is interested in stepping up to the plate... Enjoy the PICS!!!

interesting ride you have there. Definetely a lot of work has been put into your car. The stickers are an overlkill but have been somewhat tastefully done. I guess you have to give the sponsers a shout out.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I daily drive the car. I'm a firm believer that a car is meant to be driven instead of being solely a show car.

 

Wow i was hopping to see something like that...My 8 is red and i already have an ms style cf wing and i am going for the veilside full bodykit and i want that hood..but the hood red fpr no carbon fiber....But they told me i have to waiti for two months for it...

Well man i love your car and i would appreciate really if u can give me some infos on the hood or post more pics from the back maybe..and tell us what have you done on the engine cause i don't see this turbon is a greddy..Am i wrong??

With having this car as a daily driver(i have the same opinion it doesn't matter how hard tuning you have made in your car if you don't move it...)and without having mesh in the bumper don't you have a problem with small rocks-bugs etc especailly in big speeds???

PLease give us more info..(and especailly where you bought that hood etc)Do you like thath hood?i haven't see any in person..I love it from the pics but as far as i m going for the veilside bodykit maybe i should get their hood???Airflow with this hood is good???

The front bumper looks like a R-magic kit.I do have to say that this is a very nice looking 8!

where did you get the varis hood?

 

The best hood would be varis+veilside together...Two triangles like the veilside and the holes of the varis...great!!!!But right now this combo is only a dream for me

Mike B... I am sponsored by Bulletproof Automotive which is VARIS USA. The hoods are usually made to order and this only 1 of 2 that I know if in North America at this time. I believe they ordered one extra with mine so give Ben a call at Bulletproof if your interested. It is one of the nicest constructed hoods I've seen in awhile. It also has drainage passages near the vents to drain water out to the sides in the rain.

Hellbreed.. I'll try to come by...I had a scare the other week when my thermostat got stuck while tuning the car with the turbo...it was going haywire and we didn't know the cause at the time.. If I get everything setup, I'll be there.
