The review was an attempt by wheels (long lead) to jump the gun on the short lead guys. A few points about the article:
1. It was a preproduction car, so not quite a fair test, since our cars will have 10HP less (we get the PCM's the UK were originally getting)
2. The test was done in the blue mountains. This is a network of poorly maintained roads, which tests the suspension, but your not testing how it goes in traffic. Basically I think the guy drove the car flat out for the whole test.
Negatives:
* Worried about fuel consumption (no #'s given) as car seemed to drink like a fish.
* Didn't like centre air vents???
Positives:
Everthing else. Thought the car had plenty of torque, LOVED the sound (the writer is not a rotary fan AFAIK). Basically the whole review is so gushing it reads like a sales brochure
Higlight was when they said it was a much better car to drive than the 350Z. This brings to 3 the total number of staff of OZ's top magazine who've liked this car. Two of them have said they intend to buy one for themselves!
Lot's of very nice pics. Unless bwob objects, I'll try and scan them
