hey guys......im selling my stock front bumper but it needs to be shipped out. i have NO idea where to find a box large enough to fit my stock front bumper. if anybody has any clues/suggestions, please let me know.

maybe like uhaul or something would have it? i have no idea where to begin.

 

UPS can ship just about anything. Give your local UPS store a call and give them
the dimensions and where your shipping to and they can tell you the exact cost.

thanks tigger. however the reason i am packaging it up myself is to AVOID shipping through UPS. i am opting for greyhound express as they are about 1/3 of the cost of UPS. even if i did ship through UPS i would still have to furnish my own shipping materials as they charge a ridiculous amount to box up your items, then rape you again to ship it.

 

I remember shipping a kayak to a friend once and thought it was reasonable.

Just had a thought. Maybe you could call a car dealer to see if they have any
boxes in the size you need. If you ask the right person in the parts dept. maybe they could help you out.

 

Make your own. Just get some bubble wrap and cardboard. Wrap it with bubble wrap and then cut the pieces of cardboard to wrap around the fender. Tape it nice and tight.

be careful shipping though...be sure to insure fully and do a great job on packaging or they won't honor the claim

from my working intimately with a parts company I know that you CANNOT trust UPS or Fedex to do anything right and there is about a %10 chance the part will be damaged...so protect it dearly!

 

Try a furniture store; maybe they have a box a couch came in back?
