Soaring Gas Prices = Cheaper Rx8????

It occured to me last night as I was filling up at Chevron for $2.83 a gallon that maybe sports cars / SUVs will begin dropping in price.
I remember this happening last year as we approached the dreaded $2.00 a gallon mark...

Anyone know if Mazda is planning on offering any special rebates soon to counter customers beginning to worry more and more about the cost of fuel?

Maybe some cash back incentives to attract people who are in the market for such a car but are beginning to fear the gas pumps more then they do the IRS...

Just my random thought of the day...

Cars will not drop in price BECAUSE of high gas prices. Dealers will mark them down when people stop buying them and inventories are high.
