I am about to order a bunch of goodies from RB; Suspension package, exhaust, REVI Intake, and I was wondering if I could get some tips on where to get everything installed (one spot if possible). I think I can handle the intake on my own but don't even want to try everything else. Too Bad I missed the install meet!

There are 2 shops right near you that can do the work:
Marvelspeed and Rotary Performance.
I know the owner of Marvelspeed and I've sent everyone I know there. He'll do all the work for you at a fair price and they'll all tell you he does a great job. Don Marvel has 26 years of rotary experience and is also the master rotary tech at town north mazda. Their address is on www.marvelspeed.com (a very incomplete website).

The other local option is very well known as well and that's RX-7.com (rotary performance). I've never heard anything bad about these guys and they have a lot of experience. www.rx-7.com for more info.

If you do it your self, save a full half day If your experienced. If not I would start early and plan for the whole day :D You could easily save the money and do the intake and exhaust with a buddy on a jack. I will help if you need it.

 

Do I feel another install party???? haha, just kidding i'm no help whatsoever when it comes to installs. i couldn't even REACH the car to help during the removal of my exhaust

 

Well thanks for the input, and the Offer Jenkins.....BigOLundh says he has a friend with a shop also. I guess it's time to compare prices vs time and effort of doing it myself.

intake is simple...takes about 30 minutes to figure out how to take out the sock intake then the rest is a breeze.

as for the exhaust...what Jenkins said! just have plenty of WD-40 and a big *** screw driver!

well coop 04 said he wanted it but i still havent heard from him, so i'm putting it back up for sale. $400 and i'll deliver it.

Not yet!! I am going to order this week some time so I can get delivery by next weekend-last weekend in April. Work has been super busy(Tax Season) and I will not have any time until then.

But I still have not decided about anything yet, waiting to hear from Big O Lundh to get his buddies number so I can get an estimate.....

But I just put the front splash guards on yesterday and it makes the OEM apperance package look much better.

Hey guys... I was looking at the so called Xenon "white" / "blue" halogen headlamp bulbs that
are sold on eBay fairly cheap, (H7's / H11's) Are those bulbs worth the money?
I know they are freaking hard to install. Mr. Ed was saying that the best way to replace
the headlamps is by removing the whole front bumper.

What is ya'll's input/ point of view?

 

I don't know about the headlight itself, but I switched out the parking and fog lamp bulbs myself and it wasn't hard at all. Although the fact the bumper was already off I'm sure helped a bit...... four screws hold each headlight unit in and once that's out, simple as pie.

Hey Mr. Ed, how's the bike shopping going?

 

If they are the XD5 brand bulbs they are good. Most of the bulbs I have bought off ebay seem to be really good. I havn't changed my high beam bulbs though because I never use them, just the fogs and it really makes a difference.

The parking lights are simple to remove even without removing anything. I was
just wondering about the headlamps. I didn't get the xenon package and
it costs way too much to upgrade ($1200?)

I'll just buy some blue/ white xenon-likes on ebay. Thanks.

you might check out Track Ready Performance in Ft Worth, Chris Green is the master mechanic over there, probably the leading tuner for mazdas when it comes to suspension/chasis set up, he has years of experience with miatas, rx7s, rx8s, and even formula mazdas.
