What color brake calipers for a sunlight silver RX-8?

I'm looking to paint my brake calipers soon on my sunlight silver rx-8 but I don't know what colors to paint them. I was pretty much set on red, but then I didn't think it would flow with the rest of the car. So then I look at some pictures who had silver calipers but it just didn't stand out like the red did. Then I looked at pictures with black calipers and I thought they looked pretty good.

Check out my cardomain page at www.cardomain.com/id/silverrx8 in order to see the pictures of the car, likely on page 5.

What do you guys think would look best?

I decided to go with red, lol, i'll take pictures and everything when I am done.

Reason for red is because if I am going to paint them, may as well make it so they will stand out!

I suggest red as well. I think that goes nicely with a silver. To be honest, painting the calipers black or silver would not noticeable at all ... so why bother painting something that you want to stand out?

I guess blue would go ok with a silver 8. Haven't seen many of those!

Red, I have a Duplicolor kit sitting beside waiting to go on mine! No point in a color your can't see. It is only decoration after all. (just gotta find 24hr's to spare!! Damn slow drying time)

Just finished painting mine today. I went with Duplicolor Silver. I painted the calipers, backing plate, pad carriers and center and outside edge of the rotor. It looks awesome. I wish I had a digital camera. It provides a very classy and clean look. It stands out because it doesn't stand out to distract from the overall beauty of the car. My second choice would have been black. Red calipers go well on Honduhs and the like.

Nice choice! I think red goes well with pretty much every color.
