anybody think of painting their strakes to like a black color? i think it would look cool if your color schme is like color/ black....

 

There is a member that sells composite strakes, they come in any color you wish.

Dmenac7, a moderator here for a long time, a vendor of custom products he builds, and an all around nice guy.

 

DMenac7 did mine....one of the first ones to get red actually. Excellent work and fine detail.

 

I tryed emailing this guy like 5 times no response. is he still around because he has not read my 1 pm i send him.

When I read the topic of this thread, the first thing that came to mind was, "UMM, no way! that'll look terrible!"

Mugatu, you have made me into a believer.

Don't think it would look very good on mine since I'm thinking of getting a black RX but looks REALLY nice if it's also got the painted calipers.

D MENAC 7 is around. I PMed him not too long ago about the 3rd brake light mod and he replied.

 

ohhh so hes avoiding me sneaky guy he probably does want to do anymore strakes i heard hes backed up.

 

I think I'll just keeping my strakes shiney aluminum and not experiment

Mine is blue... i was thinking maybe like a gunmetal type color to match carbon fiber? idk..im carbon fiber kinda guy... just havent got to the part where im doing CF mods... still backed up in cash lol... this system is a beotch to get set up and is taking foreverrrrrr

 

Black with stainless steel strakes.
Can see the point in having different coloured stackes but not matching.
