are the brackets alluminum? if they are how much did you pay for that wing (if you don't mind me asking). it looks great. what is teh wing made of fiberglass? urethane? or whatever kinda plastic the ms one is made of? inquiring minds want to know.:D

I'm gonna guess it was unpainted, does anyone know what it costs to paint a spoiler?

 

The whole wing including the brackets are fiberglass. It cost around $250 shipped.
I bought the paint from a local auto paint store that mixed it up for me. That cost around $20 for a half-pint. Then I had my guys at the dealership paint and install it for around $50. I really lucked out getting it painted at Mazda! It's good to know people! :D

Is there another version of this MS replica spolier that has alumiunum brackets? I'm not so thrilled about them being made of fiberglass.

 

I wasn't to thrilled about it either dude, but the FB brackets are VERY strong. The FB brackets aren't flimsy or feel like they can break easily. Metal brackets would be better, but for the money the wing is well worth it.

 

Mine is being fitted (carsoption one too) over the next few days, getting the de-badge of the boot finished off so without the car for a couple of days But will be worth it when it comes back.

Nope, had the CTD Germany one - aka inverted xmen

After the rest of the kit was installed I didn't think it suited the car so decided to try the carsoption replica instead - was a good excuse to get the rear de-badged as I needed the holes from the CTD spoiler welded and filled anyway!

 

Well, I can hardly wait to see your car Orbist! Make sure to post some pics! :D

I like how people over there in the UK call the "trunk" a "boot." It sounds cool.

LOL, I forgot to switch the language chip over! You all confuse me when you talk about hoods instead of bonnets, but I prefer hood!
