Ouch, overkill. How much power do you have to make on a Supra to make it run like that? Damn, the front didn't even stay on the ground very well up to halfway the track.

Not fair, we have to shift through 6 gears, he doesn't.

 

I think they put a turbo400 in that supra, I have to find the video of one with the factory 6speed doing 8.90 164mph quartermile daily driver.

Awesome.... I love to see a Japanese sports car earning some respect against the domestic brethern. Now we just need Nascar to let Toyota race in Nascar.

That old muscle car sounded mean when he revved the engine up, but the Supra sounded smooth..no clanging noises from it.

Was that a Doge Dart? The car's lines looked Mopar-ish but for some reason the grille looked like an old Ford.

 

I thought that may have been just a dial-in run but there usually aren't announcers for them. I wonder what class they were racing in.

hey, that Supra was an awesome car, and so was the last turbo rx7,,..........and the rx7 still looks as good as the supra and the new rx8, I was sad to not see a turbo factory 8

 

the guy that owns that car is from chicago. he takes that thing all over the country and races it. insanely fast. i forgot the name of the website, but he has a few more videos.
