Hymee Enhanced - Prices

Hey,

I finally made it to a position where I can contribute to the forum via some sponsorship to help keep this favourite place of ours running. Not big forum sponsorship, but it is a start. You might have noticed my little banner on the footer of the site every so often. That give me a little more leeway in the advertisement of prices and disussing products etc.

So, here is a list to start with, in chronological order of there release to public.

All prices in Australian Dollars

Grill Kit
The "mod" that started it all. The original, and still the best!
Provides protection to the exposed air-con condensor and oil-cooler.
Suitable for with or without fog lights.

Price: $190 including delivery within Australia

"Cat-back" Sports Exhaust
As published by a happy US customer: "The best hand-made RX-8 catback available!"
Beautiful tone, lovely sporty note. Not too loud, not too quiet. Available in aluminised mild steel construction, or polished stainless steel. Both systems use the same 100mm (4") stainless steel double wall polished tips.

Mild Steel: $550 + shipping

Stainless Steel: $850 + shipping

As a guide, shipping is $60 for Sydney/Melbourne. Local buyers (i.e Brisbane) can have it fitted by our master-craftsman Les for $40. More than one happy customer has even driven their pride and joy from NSW for fitting

Short Shifter ** PM for availability **
Manufactured by Richard Paul's Axialflow Engineering, and exclusivley available in Australia via Hymee Enhanced, these CNC machined shifters give your 6-speed RX-8 a very sporty and positive shift with the 30% reduced throw. Features high quality Dulon Delrin bushings, and stainless steel shaft. Re-use your original gear **** for the "untouched" look, or fit your own custom ****.

Price: $380 includes o'night express postage within Australia.

sCANalyser
Tap into the RX-8's onboard computer system and configure your own digital dashboard displaying a live feed of all of the ODBII mandated operational parameters supported by the RX-8, including wideband 02. Check and reset "MIL" trouble codes (Check Engine Light). Log live data to file for post analysis. Display calculated parameters such as instantaneous fuel consumption.

Currently in limited beta release by RX-8 owners around the world.

Price: TBA

P/D Supercharger
Currently in development, the twin-screw supercharger provides instant boost, hence torque when you need it! Utilises the "Rolls Royce" of superchargers, the Autorotor by Opcon.

Price: TBA

Hymee Enhanced Design
(One day I'll make it a bit more interactive!)

Hymee can I use some of these info in my website?
Interactive webpage???

These are very nice mods. I just counted I have nearly all of those. I am most impressed with the sCANalyser, the short shifter is good too but it is hardly to Hymee's credit .

Hymee is the most reliable seller I know, not only reliable, but also he knows his stuff and willing to explain to you in length.

Thanks taka. Go for it - it is your website!

As for the shifters, well, not much of my design, except I went to the USA and met Mr Paul, visited his workshop/manufacturing facility, checked his quality, met his partner, and established the means for getting them here at an affordable price. So that is how I enhanced them

I forgot to mention, all the above products are also the only real way to get the official HymeeEnhanced computer cut vinyl decal :D

Cheers,
Hymee.

hymee when will the can-scan tool be released?
do you have a version yet without the bells and whistles?
I've started messing around with the intake and want a way to monitor changes good or bad. I don't want all the gauge front end stuff, just logging numbers.
can you supply the can you supply the cables and software for this yet?

I would not mind a lite edition that simply lets me know the fuel consumption, avg speed, avg consumption and fuel tank range remaining...

We're almost done - I put in the last feature last night - we're in testing and packaging mode so the release won't be far away.

The great majority of our costs are the hardware and cables - a "lite" version wouldn't be any cheaper.

Like sco said, this "lite" version of the software we are almost giving away for free. The majority of the costs are associated with the high quality hardware and cables we supply with the kit.

And the current version about to be released does give an indication of instantaneous fuel consumption, based on live air-flow and air-fuel ratios, and current speed. When stopped, and the display of liters/hour of fuel can be displayed. When moving, it changes to litres/100km.

Future, upgraded versions have plans for more of a trip computer type functionality.

Cheers,
Hymee.

sweet. Are the fuel rates convertable to imperial? Does the same go for all, some or how many of the other parameters?

One of the last bits I am supposed to be working on is moving the display of fuel consumption to a digital gauge (similar to others) and also to allow for metric/imperial. All the ODBII parameters that have units of measure can be changed between metric and imperial, either individually, or all together.

Cheers,
Hymee.
