60-80 lbs is reasonable. More might bend them rotors.

There's this neat little book, inside a nice case that sits inside your glovebox, called an owner's manual that says the torque specs for the wheels are 65 to 87 ft/lb. I picked the mean torque of 76 ft/lb.
I had a flat and had to replace a brand new S03 tire.........and the frickin dealer COULDN'T TELL ME the torque specs, 'cause they didn't know!! You can bet Mazda North America Operations heard about it.
After replacing the tire I torqued ALL the lug nuts and the other 15 weren't close to the spec. Another call to MNAO and the service manager at the dealer.
For some reason the service department doesn't like me that much...........................

It should be 108 ft-lb, have a look at this service bulletin.

I don't buy 108 ft/lbs on any aluminum wheels. It may work for someone having this clicking noise (I've never heard it) but that's a whole pile of squeeze on butter.

Kwullen, so you're from Amelia Island. I always liked the cheeseburgers at Brett's. (I grew up in the Jacksonville area.)
